인증의 필요성 |

미국연방통신위원회(Federal Communications Commission)는 전파 자원의 효율적 이용관리 방안의 일환으로 주요전기.전자제품에서 발생하는 불요전자파(EMI)를 구제하고 있습니다. 이와같은 규제는 연방통신법에 의거 실시되는데 위반시는 법에 따라 제품의 수입, 판매, 전시, 광고등 유통 전반에 걸친 강력한 제재가 수반 됩니다.
따라서 관련 제품에 대한 FCC의 인증을 받지 못하면 미국내로의 제품 판매가 불가능하며 FCC 인증 획득은 필수적인 것입니다.

관련 규정 및 대상 기기 |

|
FCC 인증이 필요한 관련 규정은 CFR(Code of Federal Register) Title 47(Telecommunications)에 규정되어 있으며 각 Part 별 내용은 다음과 같습니다.

Part 15 : Radio Frequency Devices -> 대부분의 모든 SRD(Short Range Device) 무선기기들이 해당(Bluetooth,Wireless LAN,GSM....)

Part 68 : Connection of terminal equipment to the telephone network-> PSTN 에 연결/유선전화기, 무선전화기...
